The HealthBIO is a cluster programme focusing on health applications of biotechnology and on business areas related to health. HealthBIO is part of the national Centre of Expertise programme OSKE.
HealthBIO cluster utilises the top-level expertise of the Finnish bio-business, as well as the development of its supporting infrastructure, operational model and other expertise.

National interests of HealthBIO’s spearhead projects meet the regional activities.
Based on their content, projects have a clear national effectiveness goal or other significance. Proposals for spearhead projects generally come from the regions, cluster’s internal network or external interfaces.
